Resident Evil Requiem will be less than 30 GB on Switch 2

Capcom is gearing up for a big year in 2026! It will kick off on February 27 with the launch of Resident Evil Requiem on PS5, Xbox Series, PC, and Switch 2. To be exact, it’s the Nintendo console version that interests us today.

There’s no doubt the Japanese publisher will have to optimize the game to make its survival horror title run on the machine. The first images have been rather reassuring, and we have more good news. According to the game’s eShop page, Resident Evil Requiem will take up 29.3 GB of space on the Switch 2.

This is a fairly reasonable size for a title of this magnitude. Unfortunately, although the game could normally fit on a 64 GB card, Capcom will undoubtedly opt for the famous game key card.
