Crunchyroll, the global anime streaming service, is teaming up with HoYoverse’s Honkai: Star Rail for a host of collaborations both in-game and without.
The main feature here is that all Honkai: Star Rail players will get a Crunchyroll Premium 14-Day Mega Fan Free Trial. A Mega-Fan subscription typically costs $11.99/month. This can be claimed when the official event page goes live on November 6, allowing you to link your Star Rail account to a Crunchyroll account.
But there’s a lot more happening through this collaboration, as the HoYoFair 2025 Special Fan Art Program “Chimerric Park” will premiere exclusively through Crunchyroll during the first two weeks. Again, you’ll need to link both of your accounts, but this will let you undertake missions to view Chimerrric Park and earn an array of rewards that include Stellar Jades, Lost Crystals, and more. These quests will roll out across several rounds, and here’s the schedule
- First Round: November 6, 2025 6 PM to November 25, 2025 5:59 PM PT
- Second Round: November 25, 2025 6M to December 16, 2025 5:59 PM PT
- Third Round: December 16, 2025 6 PM to January 6, 2026 5:59 PM PT
- Fourth Round: January 6, 2026 6 PM to January 27, 2026 5:59 PM PT
All of this comes alongside Honkai: Star Rails’ Version 3.7 update, which brings about the climax of teh Amphoreous Saga. Titled “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday,” this version update adds new story quests and a brand-new playable character, named Cyrene. But it also introduces a massive new gameplay mode called “Currency Wars,” where players assemble a team of up to 10 characters, from a total of 60, and strategically deploy them in “on-field” and “off-field” positions during combat. Here’s a brief overview of the update’s story.
“Over the course of the Amphoreous saga, the Astral Express trio inherited the Titan Coreflames, gaining newfound strength and becoming inextricably bound to Amphoreous’s destiny. Now, the Astral Express crew stands shoulder to shoulder with the Chrysos Heirs, confronting “Irontomb” — the most formidable foe to time itself, in a battle whose weight surpasses anything Amphoreous has ever faced. Yet the conflict extends beyond the paths of Destruction and Erudition, as the forces of Remembrance stir in the dark. With the cosmos on the brink, no great power can afford to remain silent.
