A new Mario balloon joins Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

To celebrate the 40-year anniversary of the original Super Mario Bros. game, Nintendo is going all in on the mustachioed mascot. Two of his seminal adventures were ported to the Nintendo Switch earlier this month, and a new film, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, is set to release next spring. But those dwarf in comparison to Friday’s announcement: Mario’s getting a new balloon, baby.
