Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC Gets November 11 Release Date

Developer Warhorse Studios and publisher Deep Silver have announced that the final story expansion for open-world RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2Mysteria Ecclesiae – will be coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 11, and will be priced at $13.99. The announcement was made with a new trailer which you can check out below.

The Mysteria Ecclessiae DLC – Latin for Mysteries of the Church – will have protagonist Henry becoming an assistant to renowned healer Sigismund Albicus, who also happens to have ties with King Wenceslas. Henry has to venture forth inside Sedletz Monastery where he will get embroiled in a web of intrigue. Along with this, there is also a mysterious plague going around, and each faction of the monastery seemingly has its own motives.

Sedletz Moanestary is the major new addition to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 as part of the DLC, and has been described by the developer has having been modelled with historical accuracy in mind. The monastery will feature its own diverse areas that will gradually unlock depending on Henry’s abilities to solve the various mysteries and secrets it hides. Along with this, the DLC will also bring with it a new outfit and weapon, along with new potions and books that will further help broaden Henry’s horizons.

It is worth noting that Mysteria Ecclesiae will be the final DLC part of the season pass that has been available for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This does not, however, mean that the studio won’t make any more content for the open-world RPG. While it hasn’t announced anything yet, it is not uncommon for large RPGs to get even more DLC and post-launch support than was originally planned.

Mysteria Ecclesiae will be the fourth DLC released for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, following up on September’s Legacy of the Forge, as well as May’s Brushes With Death and February’s Shields of Seasons Passing. While most of the DLC releases for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 have featured their own sets of stories, the Shields of Seasons Passings DLC was just a set of new unique shield designs that could be used to further customise Henry’s look and arsenal.

Legacy of the Forge was the last major DLC released for the game, and revolved around Henry going back to Kuttenberg to revive the forge where his own father once apprenticed. Along the way, he gets to meet his father’s old companions, as well as the blacksmith’s guild, with the ultimate plan of completing his father’s wishes to repair the Astronomical Clock in the city. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was released earlier this year, and serves as an improvement over its predecessor in every single way. Once more putting players in the shoes of Henry, the title’s story picks up after the events of the first game, where he sets off on a mission that starts off simple – deliver a message – but ends up getting quite a bit more complicated due to circumstances out of Henry’s controls.
