Out of nowhere, Ironwood Studios has released Pacific Drive for Xbox Series X/S alongside the Whispers in the Woods expansion for all platforms. The latter offers a new eight to 12-hour-long story, alongside various new features. Check out the launch trailer below.
Exploring a new part of the Olympic Exclusion Zone, players must contend with a mysterious cult. There are new characters to interact with (all fully voiced), maps and junction types with βstrange altars.β Of course, that means new car parts and ways to customize its looks alongside new anomalies, route modifiers, and garage stations.
However, perhaps the biggest new gameplay system is the Artifacts, which increase the overall challenge and add more spice to end-game runs. If that wasnβt enough, composer Wilbert Roget II returns for a frightening new score.
Alongside Xbox Series X/S, Pacific Drive is available for PS5 and PC. It launched in February 2024 and sold one million copies in its first year. Check out our review of the base game here.
