HoYoverse has officially confirmed that its first-ever cosmic life sim, Petit Planet, will launch a closed
beta test dubbed “the Coziness Test” on November 7.
HoYoverse announced Petit Planet last month as a cozy cosmic life sim, and in Petit Planet, players are entrusted to nurture a planet of their own and gradually form a galaxy by connecting with different planets scattered across the sky. This cozy title is notably HoYoverse’s first foray onto the life simulator frontier, and it will bring social elements and multiplayer gameplay that will turn the galaxy into a lively place. HoYoverse also released a trailer, and it can be seen below.
Today, HoYoverse has announced a closed beta test dubbed the “Coziness Test,” so players can jump into the cosmos early. These tests are normally used to test server stress levels and in-game functionality before an official launch, but it does mean players get to jump in early. In the closed beta Coziness Test, players will be able to gather at the Galactic Bazaar, a social hub where they can make friends and chat over a cup of coffee. Players will also be able to sync their dance moves to melodies in cooperative rhythm mini-games, cultivate and receive harvests beneath the stars, fish in crystalline waters, and much more.
How to Sign Up For The Petit Planet Coziness Test

Signing up for the Petit Planet Coziness Test is a simple task. All fans have to do is head to the official Petit Planet HoYoverse website, and click the “Beta Sign-Up” button. Fans should note that they will need a HoYoverse account to complete signing up. HoYoverse also notes that it will use the collected information provided by the survey to confirm tester selection, and it won’t be shared to third parties without consent. After signing up, fans will have to wait and see whether they’re selected for the closed beta via email, and not everyone will be granted entry.
The closed beta Coziness Test for Petit Planet will be available on PC and iOS starting November 7, and sign-ups will be available until HoYoverse gives notice.
