All Classes And Characters In Fellowship

Fellowship strips down the standard MMO experience and serves players the best part of the experience: running dungeons and earning cool new gear. It does so with a unique set of heroes that fall within the confines of the holy trinity of tanks, healers, and DPS, ensuring there’s a character for every type of player to enjoy.

Though they may fill a specific role, each character in Fellowship has their own set of abilities that set them apart from others within that category–with some being more or less challenging to learn and master. For that reason, there’s not really any “best class” in Fellowship, as they all serve unique roles and it’ll come down to your task at hand and the team facing it. Below, we’ll give you a brief overview of each character in Fellowship and what kind of playstyle you can expect from them, so you can make an informed call for every raid.

Helena

Role: Tank

Helena is a traditional sword-and-board tank that offers an enjoyable kit, even if it lacks surprises. She’s undoubtedly the best option for those new to tanking in MMO-style dungeons, with abilities that focus on maintaining her defensive resources while providing good AOE threat generation.

  • New player friendly
  • Traditional but tanking playstyle
  • Great for AOE tanking

Meiko

Role: Tank

Meiko is an adaptable tank who provides exceptional damage mitigation when played properly. However, her kit is heavily based around memorizing combo inputs that lead to different abilities so that she can keep up said mitigation while also dishing out enough damage to keep enemies engaged on her and not her party.

  • Fantastic damage mitigation potential
  • Combo system may be complicated for new players
  • May be preferred in parties running high-tier content

Sylvie

Role: Healer

Sylvie is a versatile healer who can also dish out damage to help teams wrap fights up more quickly. She achieves this by using passive healing techniques and careful positioning. Her kit can feel slightly overwhelming for inexperienced healers, but her incredible utility makes her arguably one of the game’s best characters.

  • Can deal worthwhile damage and heal at the same time
  • Her versatile playstyle takes time to master
  • Colorful and lively kit and character design

Vigour

Role: Healer

Vigour is an AOE (area of effect) healer that focuses on keeping everyone in the party topped up, which makes him good for farming dungeons quickly with a good team. Otherwise, he’s a bit less versatile than Sylvie, making him a more situational healer that is best for experienced players who have a firm grasp on best healing practices.

  • Trades versatility for AOE healing
  • Excellent choice for rapid farming with an experienced team
  • Not suitable for meaningful damage dealing

Rime

Role: Ranged DPS

Rime is as close as you can get to a traditional frost mage archetype, slinging ice spells at enemies to whittle them down. She offers excellent crowd control for harder content, even if her damage can’t always keep up with some of the other DPS characters. If you’re just looking for a fun, resourced-based magic character, she can be a blast to play.

  • Easy to pick up and play
  • Trades top-tier damage for better crowd control
  • Fun resource management

Ardeos

Role: Ranged DPS

Ardeos is a pyromancer, meaning he uses fire-based spells to dish out the hurt to his enemies. He’s relatively easy to play and has massive burst damage potential in his kit, which trades mobility for spell casting as you build up to his Detonate ability to satisfyingly explode your foes.

  • Flashy and fun fire spells
  • Relatively easy rotation
  • Not very mobile since some spells require casting time

Elarion

Role: Ranged DPS

Elarion uses a bow and arrow to deal ranged damage, making him a great choice if you enjoy dealing physical damage while keeping your distance from enemies. His consistent damage output and easy-to-understand rotation makes him one of the best DPS options for new players acclimating to the game’s mechanics.

  • High mobility
  • Solid, consistent damage output
  • Easy to play with a forgiving rotation

Tariq

Role: Melee DPS

Tariq uses a massive hammer to dish out damage up close and personal. His kit revolves around timing, though, making him a challenging character to master for new players. Once you nail down his unique playstyle, however, he can be a powerhouse that blasts through foes with unmatched power.

  • High damage potential
  • Unique playstyle that is rewarding to master
  • Requires careful positioning and strategy

Mara

Role: Melee DPS

Mara is an assassin character that plays like a traditional rogue archetype. She requires a lot of positioning, timing, and careful resource management to make the most of her kit, but it’s worth it for the high damage she can dish out. If you enjoy being in the thick of things and using combo mechanics, she can provide a challenging but exciting playstyle.

  • Thrilling moment-to-moment combo management
  • Very position dependent playstyle
  • Major loss in damage potential if misplayed
