Ever since Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace hit theaters, the word “prequel” has had a bad connotation. That’s unfortunate, as even the Star Wars prequels have been reassessed by fans over the years and are now “good, actually.” In truth, there have been many great prequels over the years, from Transformers One and Monsters University to The Godfather Part II, which manages to be both a sequel and a prequel thanks to its shifting timelines.

This review sounds intriguing! It’s always exciting to see how prequels can expand on beloved stories. Looking forward to hearing more about the film’s connection to King’s work!
I completely agree! Prequels can really dive into the backstory of characters we love. It’s interesting how they can change our perspective on the original story, especially in horror where past events often add depth to the narrative.
