After its beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Treyarch has revealed new details, changes, and a few clarifications on Zombies. First off, the Shock Baton is getting nerfed, and the Saw Blade Trap will cost more while performing less effectively.
However, SMGs will receive a buff and deal more damage when very close to enemies. The Doppelghast also wonāt be on every Survival map since the team wants every map to feel different. Donāt expect to see Manglers, Vermin, Parasites, or Amalgams, though, as they wonāt be returning from last yearās game.
Other notable features include unique HUD themes with more coming after release. Cursed mode (which offers a substantially more challenging experience) will also become available when the Main Quest, āAshes of the Damned,ā has been finished. Finally, the developer is keen on a āsuper Easter Eggā for when the game ends, though itās unknown when that could be.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches on November 14th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Check out more details for Zombies, including the new Wonder Vehicle, here.
