There are some changes coming to Xbox’s flagship franchise. The Halo World Championships on October 24 and 25, 2025, are likely to be the scene of one or more announcements.
We already know that a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved is likely in the works. But if we are to believe insider Rebs Gaming, this entry won’t be the only one in 2026. A multiplayer Halo game is reportedly in development for release next year.
This Halo live service is expected to be supported over the long term, much like Fortnite. Add to that the fact that the next game in the main series is in production.
