3 Doors Down Lead Singer Has Died

Post-grunge alternative rock band 3 Doors Down has confirmed that its founder, frontman, lead singer, and songwriter Brad Arnold passed away peacefully at the age of 47 on Saturday, February 7, after a months-long battle with cancer. Arnold was first diagnosed in May 2025 with stage 4 clear cell renal carcinoma, an aggressive form of kidney cancer that began to metastasize to his lungs. The band subsequently canceled scheduled performances for that year to allow Arnold the necessary time to receive medical treatment and work towards recovery. Arnold was surrounded by his wife Jennifer and other family members at the time of his death.
