The newest Nintendo Direct was a bit of dud, but you can finally look forward to a handful of Xbox ports in the coming months.
Despite frequent promises to support the Nintendo Switch 2 once it launched, Xbox has yet to release anything for the console. That’s finally set to change, though, following today’s Nintendo Direct.
The showcase focused entirely on games from third parties, with the final announcement being a triple threat of Xbox ports or, more specifically, Bethesda ports.
To start things off, we have Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, which already launched for other platforms in November and contains the base game, all the post-launch DLC, and some other new additions made for the game’s 10th anniversary.
It will arrive on Switch 2 later this month, on February 24, with pre-orders opening later today. Hopefully, it’s better received on Switch 2 than it has been elsewhere, as the Anniversary Edition came under fire from fans when it initially launched, for poor performance and PC compatibility issues.
Whether starting from scratch will help the Switch 2 version remains to be seen, but the trailer footage didn’t look too encouraging.

Next is Indiana Jones And The Great Circle, which is scheduled for May 12 and will also be available for pre-order today. There’s no mention of it including the story DLC, so that’ll presumably be sold at a later date.
Lastly, there’s The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, although unlike the others it lacks any firm release date and is only scheduled for a vague 2026 launch.
Ideally, its launch will be smoother than the Switch 2 port of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, which was blasted for being ‘unplayable’ by fans and required a post-launch update to address its performance.
Admittedly, none of these were brand new reveals and were already confirmed or at least heavily rumoured, but these should be a sign that more Xbox ports will follow, and entirely new releases may launch day one alongside the Xbox and PlayStation 5 versions.
