The Pokedex for Pokemon Legends: Z-A is as important to its gameplay as any other mechanic, and it had a high expectation to live up to after the previous Kalos games boasted a massive 457 Pokemon for players to catch. While Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s Pokedex is no slouch at 234 obtainable mons, it doesn’t come close to competing with the Pokedex from X and Y. There have been some notable cuts between the Gen 6 games and Legends: Z-A, but a few new additions have helped fill in some of the gaps.
