A recently released PS5 and PS5 game has been delisted from the PlayStation Store. Although a delisting is typically met with sadness, this particular delisted game was taken off the digital storefront for a very good reason.
PS5, PS4 game Croc: Legend of the Gobbos gets new free upgrade today
Earlier this year, Argonaut Games released a remaster of the beloved 3D platformer Croc: Legend of the Gobbos. However, that original version did not include a Platinum trophy. That is no longer the case with the game’s Platinum Edition, which was released today, and now contains the coveted trophy. As a result, the old listing has been delisted.
Luckily for those who already purchased Croc: Legend of the Gobbos for PS5 or PS4, they won’t have to repurchase the game to get this new version. The game has received a free upgrade, which brings the Platinum trophy, as well as its new features, to those who have already bought the game.
Here is everything added to Croc: Legend of the Gobbos Platinum Edition:
- A new time trial gameplay mode called Time Attack
- Over 25 new additions to the Crocipedia.
- The ability to toggle between different Croc Main Theme mixes in the main menu.
- A bunch of bug fixes were squashed. Ker-Splat!
- A handful of quality-of-life features and improvements.
For those who have not purchased Croc: Legend of the Gobbos yet, the Platinum Edition doesn’t increase the price of the game. On the PS Store, it is $29.99. Here is a description of the game for those unfamiliar with Croc:
