There are a lot of good sci-fi RPGs out there, but fantasy dominates the genre in all categories, including turn-based, action, and tactical. A great recent example from the West is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, while Dragon Quest 9: Sentinels of the Starry Sky is a classic Eastern example.
