Why wasn’t GTA 6 at Summer Game Fest 2026?

Many moons ago, aka back in the olden days of 1995 until 2019, E3 was the biggest gaming event of the year. Every publisher under the sun would show off their upcoming games. Summer Game Fest, Geoff Keighley’s week-long parade of showcases, has replaced it in some ways, partnering with PlayStation, Xbox, and even Nintendo, so all the reveals happen in the same week. These shows feature some of the biggest games in the world, including Marvel’s Wolverine, Control Resonant, and Fable.
