You couldn’t be blamed for assuming that Resident Evil Requiem has already launched.
Leaks are rife online, with rogue copies of the highly anticipated title seemingly already in the hands of gamers.
Officially though, Resident Evil Requiem is set to launch on 27 February.
Yet to get your pre-order in? I have an offer you may want to make note of that’ll bag you a free game in the process.
Grab 18% Off Resident Evil Requiem, Plus Nab a Free Bonus Game
As spotted by PCGamesN, Fanatical is running an excellent offer.
You can currently grab a digital PC copy of the game for 18% off, with Resident Evil Requiem available for £49.19 instead of the usual £59.99.
That’s not all, as there’s also the matter of that free game I mentioned.
Those who pre-order will also nab the “Resident Evil Requiem Classified Gift”.

From what I can gather, the free gift may vary with the terms and conditions referring to both “monetary coupons and free spend prizes”.
You can click to “try” the offer without pre-ordering Resident Evil Requiem.
Doing that offered Fargone to me as an accompanying free game. Fargone is a 2022 RPG-based survival game from RedDot Games.
It typically retails around £9.99.
I then tried to run the free gift “try” button again and it threw up Survivalist, a 2015 open-world RPG from Bob.
That game retails for £3.99, so the results are a bit hit and miss. Even still, they say you should never look a gift horse in the mouth.
Those who pre-order Resident Evil Requiem will also nab an extra costume, ‘Grace’s Costume: Apocalypse’.
Requiem is set to bring back fan-favourite Leon Kennedy whilst introducing new character Grace Ashcroft.
FBI agent Grace is sent to investigate a murder, biting off far more than she can chew.
We had the opportunity to previously go-hands on with the game.
GAMINGbible’s Richard Breslin wrote, “Resident Evil Requiem has the potential to be the scariest game in the series.”
I also had the chance to try its Nintendo Switch 2 port, adding, “When I tell you that I cannot fault this port, I mean it.”
“Resident Evil Requiem looks exceptionally well optimised on the Nintendo Switch 2, signalling a shiny new era for Nintendo and Capcom as a partnership.”
As I said, the game is set to finally launch on 27 February, so consider making use of this offer from Fanatical if you’re yet to get your pre-order in.
